Eat yourself pretty
Eat yourself pretty.
We’ve all heard how what we eat affects the way we feel and the way we look and especially these days, with all the new vegan, vegetarian, paleo diets we hear about every day we are more aware of what is considered to be healthy food and what is unhealthy.
I consider myself to be a healthy eater and I tend to eat a vegetarian diet most of the time, unless I’m in Italy and at my parents’ house, then lasagna, and steaks are always welcome on the table!
I’ve now been living in Vancouver for about two months and as much as I miss Toronto, I can honestly tell you that I can really taste the freshness of the vegetables and fruits that I buy daily at my local market. In my fridge you’ll always find fruits and vegetables and for some reason right now I’m really into grapes so those are never missing. It’s also a great snack to take on the plane with me when I am working.
At the beginning of the month I was contacted by Nuts.com to write a post about healthy foods that can help you look and feel beautiful. I have a few go-to recipes and foods that I always keep with me to make me feel great on the inside as well as the outside.

Oats, almond or coconut milk, oranges, apples, almonds, bananas are just a few of the foods that are always in my home. And I also have these recipes that help me out a lot especially when I am in a hurry and don’t have much time to spend in the kitchen:
These are just a few of the super foods I eat, but you can also check out this infographic to learn about more foods that are good for you!
To keep healthy looking skin I always go for good creams and toners as well as night oils and my routine rarely shifts from the basics, because when I find something that works for my skin I never want to leave it! Yves Rocher and Kiehl’s are just two of the brands that really work wonders for my skin and I just recently added the Kiehl’s night oil to my supply. It really is a great buy!
