Searching for Freedom
Nothing beats the feeling of flying in the sky. We weren’t born with wings, but we definitely found a way of touching the sky! I am in general scared of heights, but for some reason I have never been afraid of taking an airplane. The idea of seeing the world from high above, of being almost able to touch the clouds, is indescribable. At least once a year I get this urge, this desire of fleeing, of leaving and to hop on a plane. When I am up in the sky and looking outside the window, that’s when I start to relax and to think.
Freedom. An important word with a big meaning. We all search for our own, personal freedom, we value it and respect it so much that I think in the end we keep searching and searching for it our entire lives. The freedom of life, the freedom of speech, the freedom of being able to be ourselves around other people, isn’t that what we all look for and desire? Up there, way up in the sky, all these kinds of freedom mix together and what we’re left with is a feeling of peace and tranquillity. Cotton-candy-like-clouds, skies as blue as the deepest of oceans, no one else but you and the beauty of our planet below you. Imagination runs free and so does your spirit when reunited with the magic that is the world.
I took these photos the day before leaving for Toronto. I loved this sweater/hoodie and I thought that pairing it with boyfriend jeans would be a perfect choice. The pumps give this look a more feminine vibe, which I always like to add in every outfit I choose to wear. What can I say, I’m a girly-girl at heart!
