Rose Tea Muffins

A delicious muffin.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3 bags rose tea
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 F (200°C)
  2. In a pot heat up the milk. When it starts boiling turn the heat off and add the tea bags. Let the bags soak in the milk for 5 minutes then take them out and let the milk cool down.
  3. In a bowl combine flour sugar, baking powder and salt.
  4. In another bowl beat together egg, milk and vegetable oil. Then add the mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir just until moistened (stir 10 times).
  5. Spoon batter into greased muffins cups.
  6. Bake muffins for approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on the size or until they are golden brown and the top feels firm.
  7. Take them out of the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
