Of all the seasons Fall is probably the most versatile when it comes to fashion.
For the past couple of years I have been more and more intrigued by the elegance, charm and sensible gracefulness which characterizes the French fashion houses and their history as a country. This joie de vivre, glamour and sophistication makes me, and I think I’m not alone on this one, very jealous of the Frech women’s style. Thankfully though fashion is globally renown as an art and we are all able to drool over French designers.
With Pre-Fall collections showing these days, I couldn’t pass on spending some time, between work and my new fitness regimen, studying all of the collections that my favourite designers have created and even better, I am able to learn about new designers I wasn’t familiar with before.
In fact, I cannot believe I haven’t seen any of Alexis Mabille‘s own pieces before this collection. I am in absolute aww at all of the looks and so far this collection is probably in my top 10.
Casual, modern and with that all-Parisienne-elegance, the Alexis Mabille Pre-Fall 2016 collection includes shades of blue, stripes and floral patterns which remind of the Summer and Spring seasons now just fading into Fall. The best thing about these looks? Who says you need heels to look put together?
Alexis Mabille Pre-Fall 2016
In his press release Mabille says: “This collection reflects my vision of feminine strength and a spirit that’s free and relaxed. The look is casual and sensual; the attitude could easily be Jane Birkin’s. The masculine/feminine vibe is omnipresent.”
… Each look is simply the contemporary reflection of the women around me; women who are brave, bold and sensual like the Parisian duo Brigitte.
