It’s 2018! Can you believe how fast 2017 went by? December has been a tough month, my computer broke down, I couldn’t write any posts, I kept getting sick and my upcoming trip to Hawaii got cancelled abruptly.
Still, life goes on and with the start of 2018 I finally got my computer back and I’m finally feeling better!
Last trip of 2017: 26 hours in London
On December 28th I left for London for work and had a 26 hour layover in this amazing city. I’ve been to London only once, but for just 19 hours so I didn’t get to see much. This time I was ready to see more than the Primark, so I decided to go see London bridge and the Christmas market with a couple of friends.
The weather was not on our side, it was windy and very cold, but we managed to take some good photos and we had an amazing time walking towards the bridge and on the bridge to reach the Christmas market.
For this shoot (that I’ve been planning with Christina, the official photographer for Whaterikawears, for a long time) I decided to feature one of my favourite Bristish brands: Reiss.
I’ve been trying to find the perfect jacket for a while and while watching Victoria from In the Frow on Youtube talking about Reiss and wearing one of their coats, I realized it was time to go check out the store in person instead of online. And that’s when I found this gorgeous belted jacket! I love everything about it, from the length and the fabric to the colour! For my Canadian fashionistas, you can find it at the Eaton Centre, I’m not too sure how many there are left, but check it out! I couldn’t find it online unfortunately, but here is a similar belted coat.
I enjoyed my stay in London so much and I can’t wait to go back and visit other places!
