This has been such an exciting and stressful week! I had to face many technical issues involving this site and I was so worried that I would lose at least six of the last articles I published on here. Fun times! Thankfully with the help of knowledgeable people such as my mother, you might know her as the mind behind the food blog An Italian in my Kitchen, I was able to save the latest data and nothing went missing!
This week was a mixture of emotions because on top of being worried about my site, I was also excited about finding out what my work schedule would look like for the month of October and knowing that I got five days off in a row gave me the chance to plan my next trip. I can’t wait to tell you and show you where I will be going at the end of next month. It’s a country that’s been on my bucket list of places to visit for as long as I can remember. I’ll give you a hint, which is also a very easy one: My favourite movie is Ps: I love you. 😉
Out of my head
Now that I’ve updated you on the latest news, I just want to take a quick minute to talk about this look.
I love mixing casual pieces with dressier items. A pair of high heels can elevate an overall look so much it always blows my mind away. This look is a little bit different from my style. I never wear grey jeans or grey in general to be honest. I love the monochromatic look, but it’s usually either black and white or a bold colour.
But, since Fall is around the corner I thought I would try something new so here it is!
Ruffles are the new detail of Fall 2017. I’ve showed you a bit of frills in my last post: here.
I am so in love with these J. Crew jeans, they’re so comfy and the colour is actually stunning. This sweatshirt is also from J. Crew. I love the tie-sleeve details on it. It makes a normal sweatshirt go from ordinary to interesting.
With this cool/casual look I want to officially welcome Fall 2017.
