This is a very special week for me. The day has finally arrived and while you are reading this post I will be sitting on a plane on my way to Toronto, Canada. My mom was so nice to do me a huge favour and publish this post for me. I am excited yet a bit nervous to go back. A year is a long time to be away and many things have changed. But what I am looking forward to is to see all my Canadian family and friends who I’ve only had the pleasure to see and to talk to on Skype and now, I still can’t believe it, I’ll be seeing them in person! I am going to miss my family so much! I still remember when I got here and all I could think about was “I am not feeling this place at all!” How could I have? I felt like a fish out of water.
But after sticking around and going back to the life I had before, minus the high school part, and getting used to it, I am now back to square one. I am going to leave a big piece of my heart here, but I know that in the end this is the right decision and that I will always be linked to this place in one way or another.
I want to take a moment to thank my parents, ( my mom has an amazing blog go check it out!) my bratty but gorgeous sister and my out-of-this-world friends! ( three of them have a blog as well: Cheffando and Cercatore di Favole) I love you all and à bientôt. <3
