Have you ever had your hair cut by a hair stylist in a car dealership? No? well, some Canadians have had the chance to try this new experience on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Stouffville, Ontario.
This event, a Cut-a-Thon for 360° kids was planned by my cousin with the help of two of her other friends, hairstylists as well, and the generous and much appreciated availability of the Nissan dealership which lent the spacious area to this amazing event.
I really enjoyed seeing so many people come out and being part of this charity that is trying to raise money to build a building where kids who are too old to be in foster care can have a place where to go and set their minds on their future careers.
That morning one of my cousin’s customers decided to donate twice for two different charities! She donated her locks for cancer and got a lob cut styled the same day to donate for 360° kids. What an amazing gesture!
Three girls came in to get their hair styled for a friend’s wedding and this was one of the styles their stylist created for one of the girls.
In the end all the customers left with a smile on their faces and even random people stepping into the dealership to look at cars decided to stay a little longer and get a trim for a good cause.
We hope this will be the beginning of an annual cut-a-thon for 360° kids!
What a great idea this is, not something you’d ever imagine seeing at a car dealership lol. I’m glad it turned out to be such a great event and well done that woman for donating her hair -my friends little girl did it a few months ago (shes 5) and she felt so happy about it. xx
