As an Italian born, I obviously have some favourite Italian designers (you don’t have to look too far to find great ones in this country, Valentino, Dolce&Gabbana, Versace, to name a few of the most famous ones) and for me one of the best is Florentine designer, Roberto Cavalli. I still remember the first time I saw one of his runway shows on TV when I was younger and thought: “wow, I really like that dress, and those pants, and that blouse!” Since then I’ve seen many of his pieces and still have to find something that I don’t fancy. Is that even possible though??
The Just Cavalli Pre-Fall 2015 line made his debut just last week, a few days before the American celebration of Thanksgiving in New York, and what can I say other than well done Cavalli, well done. As always, there couldn’t not be a pattern for this collection, in fact, Cavalli opted for botanical and geometric snake prints with black and white combinations and dark shades for some of the looks and pastel colours for others.
The king of prints focuses on silk mini dresses and skirts, flared pants, cropped jackets, leather material and for the evening attire he opts for long, floaty dresses. But, there’s still a hint of bohemian style in some of the outfits, although toned down and with a reminiscing Seventies vibe represented by the vibrant colours, furry coats and bell-bottoms.

I personally love the white coat and the leather tops and patterned skirts and yes, everything else! I would lie if I said there’s something that I liked more than the other! What do you think of this line? What’s your favourite piece of clothing? Let me know your opinions, I always enjoy reading your comments.
