New Hair care products for 2017: Maui Moisture

I’m ready to go back to Hawaii. In January I went to Honolulu for just a couple of days and I fell completely in love with the island. Since coming back to Canada I’ve missed that relaxed and peaceful vibe that only Hawaii possesses, so you can only imagine how happy I was when I found a new hair care brand that could take me back to those moments of pure bliss: Maui Moisture.

Now, I’m making plans to go back in January this time Maui is on my mind.

I’m always looking for products that will moisturize, strengthen and restore my hair. I use my straightening iron far too much, which means my hair gets damaged easily and for this reason I spend a lot of time browsing in search of good shampoos and conditioners and other products that will help nourish my strands back to life. I think I found a good friend in Maui Moisture!

Maui Moisture is a new refreshing and reparative hair care line. It comes in a cute little bottle shaped to resemble the plants found on the island. Instead of using chemically treated water as their base for their formula, they use aloe juice and coconut water. Coconut being one of my favourite things!

Other bonuses about this brand: It’s responsibly sourced, it’s vegan and made with eco-friendly materials.

I decided to try the Maui Moisture thicken & Restore + bamboo fibers because of its ability to restore damaged hair. This line includes shampoo, conditioner and blowout mist and it’s made with bamboo fibers, castor oil and neem oil.

I love the smell of this line and everything about it. I can tell my hair is restored and feels much stronger especially after going through the heat and damage caused by the Summer season.
