They said I looked like a biker chick

Saturday night is usually a GNO for me and my friends and as it sometimes happens, the past Saturday we started reminiscing old high-school-days-memories. Those days I was a very different person from who I am today, I was very very shy and although I still am a quiet gal, I’m definitely more confident. What made me change a lot were those three years spent in Canada. I had to do things for myself and by myself and as a journalism student I obviously had to contact and interview people for my stories. All those tasks really pushed me out of my comfort zone! I met great people who became some of the closest friends I have today. We got through our hardest assignments together, we laughed together, we cried together and they were always there when I needed them.

All of these experiences made me change and modelled me into the person I am today, not only on the inside, I can now see it through my outfit choices as well!

I risk way more now than I used to and while before I used to despise change, now I’m more curious and inclined to knowing what it can bring for my future. For today’s outfit I decided to go for an edgier and darker look for two reasons. 1: Since we were going to an Irish pub, I didn’t feel like wearing heels like I usually do when I go out. 2: Sometimes I have this mad desire of giving my style a more rocker look, I like to think that switching up my style can make me feel stronger and I can forget about the shy girl in me.

So when I met my friends the other night they said I looked like a biker chick.

I guess I achieved my goal.
