What to wear for Thanksgiving dinner? I know this post might come a little early for all the American citizens out there, but I’m bringing up the Thanksgiving subject for two reasons.
- Canadian Thanksgiving is coming up, actually it’s on Monday.
- It’s never too early to plan the perfect festive outfit right?
So here we are, speaking of what to wear for Thanksgiving, a holiday that would probably be even more important than Christmas if Christmas wasn’t synonym for presents and sweets, right?
Going back to the crucial question: What should I wear on Thanksgiving? I personally think that you shouldn’t stress it too much, a casual, but still well-put-together outfit is all you need when spending a few hours eating turkey and stuffing and pumpkin pie.
These are my recommendations for a comfortable, yet appropriate look for the evening.
Zara- Printed Blouse, Chinos with belt, Topshop- Gillian Ghillie Court Shoes, Tory Burch- Mini ‘Brody’ bucket bag, Thomas Sabo- Love bridge bracelet
Or, if you’re looking to feel comfortable and don’t want to risk having to unbutton your pants while no one is looking your way at the dinner table before dessert is served, go for a knitted dress. These dresses are perfect for this season and so comfortable and cozy.
Topshop- Chenille Knit Ribbed Jumper Dress by Boutique, Stuart Weitzman- The Update Bootie, Zara- Detailed mini messenger bag
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
