Party season is now in full swing and New Years Eve is definitely going to be the highlight the holiday season. During this time of the year people attend parties after parties, but they are all just rehearsal dinners, a mere practice time for the real party of the year which takes place ironically the last day of the year: December 31st.

I have always felt particularly excited about New Years Eve. The idea of starting from scratch, as if you could scrap every single thing that went wrong the previous year always made me feel as if I had a change to start fresh. A new me beginning a new year. Well, guess what? I learned that years go by and I stay the same, people don’t change even though they might have a desire to. It takes a very strong will and that doesn’t come easily.

I haven’t been on the blog for a while now, with the Christmas rush taking place and my new job, I’ve been really trying hard to get settled on my new schedule and slowly I’m getting used to it and hopefully soon I’ll be able to go back to writing and posting regularly on here. At the same time though, I’m also thinking that I would like to make my blog something more than just sharing fashion clothes that I like, I want it to be more than this and right now this is my main focus and resolution for the new year: coming up with a better focus for my blog.
