What I’m watching on Netflix right now

I had never been a big fan of Netflix until I came back to Toronto this year. Lately I’ve been obsessing over a few shows that I really can’t get enough of! Here are my picks to binge on during these Fall, chilly evenings.

What I’m watching on Netflix right now: 

1. SCANDAL – SEASON 5

A very small part of me wishes I were Olivia Pope and I am sure I’m not the only one! Who wouldn’t want to have a relationship with the most powerful man in the world? bonus point: he’s very good looking too! If I were Olivia though, I would have definitely settled on Jake Ballard, sexy and mysterious, plus he knows how to keep you safe in every situation, he’s a spy after all. Who would you go for? Fitz or Jake?

2. HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER – SEASON 1

Unfortunately only season 1 is available on Netflix as of right now and since I’m already on episode 10 (can’t stop binge watching this one!) I’m afraid I’ll be in serious abstinence and I don’t want to think about it right now..

3. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES – SEASON 6

I have a real obsession with vampires, I find the myth and the origins of these creatures very interesting, so much that my final thesis for my last year of exams in high school was entirely about the origins of vampires. From the historic figure of Vlad III also known as Dracula to the fictional vampire characters of Twilight. The Vampire Diaries came up just a few months after I had finished my exams and completed my five years of high school so I never had the chance to add the tv-show in my work. Today I can finally watch season 6 which came out while I was in Italy last year, and since they have to dub the voices into Italian and it takes almost a year, I’m always behind with my shows when I go back to visit my family.

4. SUPERNATURAL – SEASON 9 & 10

I have been following Supernatural since it premiered 11 years ago. At that time I started watching it for two reasons: first of all, I was, still am and always will be a Girlmore Girls fan and knowing that the sweet, loving and caring Dean (Jared Padalecki), Rory’s first boyfriend was going to be in a new tv show already sold me on watching at least the pilot episode. Second, Jensen Ackles. That’s all you need. Everyone who knows me knows that we are married, well at least in my mind we are..
