Fall is synonym for comfy sweaters, cozy coats and rainy days. This weekend Fall has struck in Toronto with the arrival of a light and obstinate grey cloud on us which doesn’t seem to want to leave.
In these cases the rain can be a real pain, especially if you have to leave your house, go out for an appointment or for work. How do you dress in these cases? We obviously don’t want to get wet and just the thought of having to run to the train or bus station while trying to avoid all the ponds on the way can be a real struggle.
Here is my outfit suggestion for these kind of days.
Sunday Look: Walking in the Rain
Zara: Hand Made Coat, Free People: Tweedy Tunic, London Fog: Pammy Rainboot,
Michael Kors: Large “Gracie” Tote
Comfortable, oversized coats and sweater dresses are the perfect ensemble for a casual outfit and for work days. When you don’t feel like getting al dressed up, it’s easy to put on a simple dress and make it your own by wearing accessories that will elevate the look and accentuate your own, personal style.
Nobody likes to wear shoes that will be soaken wet by the time we arrive to the office so a pair of rain boots will always come in handy. Pumps or flats can be stored in a bag and taken to the office where the switch can be made.
Oh and don’t forget to take an umbrella with you! This Fulton birdcage Floral umbrella is one of my favorites!
