HAPPY NEW YEAR!
HAPPY 2020!
I hope you all had an amazing start to this new decade! I still can’t believe it’s already 2020!
I’m usually very excited for the beginning of a new year and NYE has always been one of my favourite holidays, but this year it felt a bit different. Maybe the fact that I’ve been working for most of the holidays and haven’t been able to feel the holiday spirit much or maybe it’s just the stress I’ve been accumulating along the way because of all the changes that are about to happen.
One of these things has definitely ruined the magic of NY for me this year though and although they are all very exciting changes I still can’t seem to relax and enjoy the ride.
As per usual I haven’t made a resolutions list, but unlike my usual self I haven’t even made a goals list for this year yet and I don’t think it’s because I was too busy, I think it’s simply because I don’t really know what to write down.
I entered this 2020 feeling a little confused and insecure, a bit similar to the way I entered 2019, but with less to do about love and more to do with me, myself and my personal growth.
Honestly, I think this might be a better way of starting the year because I know that I want to focus on myself and plan for my future.
As I was saying, I haven’t made a list of goals for 2020 yet, but I started a few projects at the end of 2019 that I mean to keep working on. These are just a few of them:
- I definitely want to keep taking my baking courses because I realized how much those classes were helping me. They weren’t only improving my skills, they were improving my mental health.
- I started a YouTube channel which is the most unlike me thing I’ve ever done, but I’m trying to learn and I’m very interested in the editing part.
- I signed up for a 5K run which is going to take place in March and I started training for it.
These are just a few things that I started doing and that I intend on keeping up with. I have more news, but I’ll wait a bit longer to reveal them.
For now, I wish you all an exciting and amazing 2020! It’ll be a good one!
