I took some time off these past few weeks from the blog and the more I think about it the more I know I should go back and start writing again.
Home Sweet Home
I’m writing this post from the comfort of my childhood home. I’ve missed this place so much and I’m happy to finally be back even if it for just a couple of weeks. Home sweet home!
January was a tough month. I tried to keep positive and I tried to look forward to better days, but my mood was just not as high as I hoped it would be with the beginning of the new year. And by talking to my friends I noticed that we all felt the same way.
Is it possible that friends influence each other’s moods even without hanging out or speaking at all for months at a time? Well, that’s what it felt like!
We’re now at the end of February and things are starting to pick up. I decided to come home for a few weeks and spend some time with my family and friends. I love being able to see them so much more often than before and the more I come back to Italy the more attached to my homeland I feel.
It’s so weird to think that once I used to feel a stranger in my own country and now I can’t wait to go back whenever I have a chance to.
So here I am, sharing this outfit post to show you that I’m still alive and share with you this new vegan leather jacket by Cupcakes & Cashmere that I bought on Shopbop and that I just can’t stop wearing.
It might be still snowing in Toronto, but here in Rome the temperature has reached 20 degrees! And my mood is up as well!
