I’ve been feeling a little lost these days, I don’t mean literally, but mentally. I have this mad desire to do as much as possible as fast as I can, I want to start a career doing my dream job, travelling, moving to another country etc.
But when I talk to the people around me, they tell me I’m still young, things will happen slowly, don’t be so impatient, and I understand. They’re right. After all, you have to work hard to gain your prize.
I do have a question though.. How do you know you are making the right choices that will one day open the way to that life you’ve always wanted for yourself? In life we just have to risk it and see where our decisions will take us.
All I can think of doing right now is calm down and keep moving on, day after day, until one day I’ll find what I’ve been looking for. It might not even be what I’ve wanted for a long time, but as long as I have fulfilled my dreams, than I think I’ll be ok.

Hi Erika. I am sorry, but I do not agree with people around you. I am pretty sure that they love you and they think that they help you with these advices. Do not calm down, do not slow, do not lose you passion… try to find the way to make your dreams come true.

I feel the same. I have so many goals that I want to accomplish that I feel like I do not have enough time. But it is important to take a step back for a while and appreciate how far we’ve gone. By the way, gorgeous outfit. I love the basic navy tee with this full skirt 🙂
If you have a sec, would love for you to see my new post on the blog:

Gorgeous outfit and pretty deep post. I can totally relate. I feel like there is not enough time to accomplish what I want…and that I may not even be doing it right. From my experience, EVERYTHING…all bad, all good…come together at one point. You will be led where you should be going, it just feels right. You will know 🙂 I read a book recently called “20 something, 20 everything” that really opened my eyes. I recommend it. But anyway, I LOVE that skirt!

HI Liz, you’re right, I think we all do what we are meant to do in the end. Thanks for the book suggestion, I’ll definitely check it out 🙂 xoxo
