As I’m writing this post stretched out on my bed after a long day of walking downtown Toronto, I can now tell you what an amazing night I had going out with my friends Friday night. As soon as I saw my three crazy, hilarious, super friends, I realized how much I had missed them and how happy I was to see them again. It almost felt as if I had never left.
I’ll soon post some pictures we took during our reconciliation hangout at El Furniture Warehouse in the Annex in Toronto, but for now bear with me and check out this inspiration outfit I came up with for a hanging out at a bar with friends.
I might seem a little old school, but for me, you can never go wrong with a black or white t-shirt paired with a pair of skinny jeans (distressed are even better) or a skirt. This time I decided to create an edgier kind of look combined with one of the latest trends of the season: the fringe. The edgy part of the outfit is easily interpretable by the excessive amount of black pieces and the vest + low heeled booties. The look is then upgraded to a next level of fashionable by the lovely cross body, fringed bag and the white skirt. The peachy colour of the bag brings a pop of colour to the outfit and breaks the black and white theme of the outfit.
