What to wear to an afternoon tea party
I’ve always wanted to celebrate my birthday surrounded by my girlfriends, my sister, my mother, all the women that have a very special place in my heart and in my life. So for me there’s nothing better than spending time with them, talking and laughing while sipping on a cup of tea and sitting in a very quiet and elegant location.
Trust me, if I could I would bring everyone to London and that’s where I would have my celebrations, but since that’s not possible I am searching for a nice location here in Toronto.
So far, the Windsor Arms Hotel and the Fairmont Royal York Hotel seem like good choices.
Now, speaking of what I am thinking of wearing, or what I would like to wear..
I love the classy, yet effortless feeling of a celebration and to me, something simple, and elegant is all I need to feel happy. Same goes for the way I dress.
Lately, I’ve been obsessing over Ted Baker’s dresses. They’re so elegant and to me the epitome of British elegance. For an afternoon tea party all I would wear is a piece from Ted Baker and this dress is exactly what I would put on. Plus that new Coach bag is so gorgeous! And let’s not forget about the shoes! I love heels and pumps so much! And this pair of Louise et Cie are perfect for an afternoon tea party. They’re just so elegant.
