One thing that luckily I’ve never had a real issue with is my skin. I have pretty clean skin. Sometimes I catch my sister looking intensely at my face and since I find it just a tad uncomfortable, that’s probably another reason why she does it, I ask her if there’s something wrong, she ignores my question and says: “you have very nice skin.” I tell her that she’s just a teenager and that her skin is going to get better (it’s not bad, she’s just a little obsessed haha and if she knew that I’m writing this right now she’d definitely not be too pleased.. oh well..)
You know that saying, you are what you eat? I definitely believe that to be true. If we eat good, healthy foods we will have in return good looking skin, shinier hair and overall feel great, but if we eat fatty foods, fast food and too many sweets our skin will take revenge on us by breaking out.
I try to eat as healthy as I can, that includes vegetables, fruit, nuts, yogurt etc. but obviously I don’t agree with a strict diet and so once in a while it’s always nice to indulge in a delicious piece of cake, or in my case a croissant. Yes, the way to my heart involves croissants for sure!
I change up my beauty routine for keeping my skin clean very often, so I can try different creams and lotions and at the same time so that my skin doesn’t get used to one type of product. Once or twice a week I use a scrub. Right now I’m using the Nivea Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Scrub and right after I cleanse it with the Garnier Skin Naturals Fresh Foaming Cleansing Gel for normal skins. Garnier has cleansing products for every type of skin, oily, sensitive, dry and normal. You just need to find out what type of skin you have and go from there. Mine is normal most of the times, but it can also be pretty oily, so I decided to give the normal skin a try and I really like the clean and smooth feel it leaves on my face.
The last step I take is to moisturize, and I use Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. This last product is probably the only one I’ve been using for a long time because it really does work perfectly on my skin, especially in the Winter time.
So these are the products I currently use, what are your go-to’s?
xoxo
