Lately I’ve been wanting to create my own, personal style more and more, and by that I don’t mean that I don’t have a style already, simply, I feel that I need to make some changes based on the big life changes that have already impacted my life in the last couple of months. I told you guys that I had some big news and I wasn’t going to tell you about it until I was sure about it myself.
I started a new job as a flight attendant this month and I’m so excited I can’t even contain myself! This means that my life has undergone a very big change. I, not only started a new job, but moved to a new city, a city that I’ve always wanted to live in: Vancouver. I found myself sharing an apartment with two other girls I met during my initial training for this new job and since then we’ve become good friends.
Create your Personal Style
Now that I’m starting a new life here in Vancouver, where I am basically a stranger and don’t know anything about it, I feel like I can try new things and make some new changes in my style as well. I’ve also realized that for the past couple of months my style has been revolving around neutral colours such as: black, white and beige. In a way I understand if it doesn’t sound very exciting and outgoing, but these colours really suit my mood and boost my confidence at the moment. I would be lying if I told you I didn’t have someone who inspired me to focus on this new colour theme. As a blogger I like to look up to other bloggers and my inspiration comes from Sarah Donaldson, creator of the fashion blog Harper & Harley.
Her minimalistic, neutral style has inspired me from the first moment I found her blog and since then she’s been one of the people that I look up to the most when it comes to fashion.
