The holidays are around the corner and since I will be spending most of my December working, I made sure to plan dinners and coffee dates with my loved ones so that I could see them at least for a bit before my crazy work schedule begins.
Creating a Special Moment with Empress 1908
I love seeing my friends and family and spending time with them and this time of year is always a difficult one especially when my family is so far away from me and I know that I won’t be able to see them until next year. So to bring back up my spirit I made sure to see my friends before the real holidays began.
I firmly believe that even if you have a very busy schedule, if you really want to, you can free up some time to see the people you love. It’s all about willpower and good planning!
I love to create special moments and memories with the people I love in my life and living in Italy for most of my life taught me that the best memories are made around a table, surrounded by good food and good drinks.
I can’t think of a better get together with my girlfriends than afternoon tea, so when I got the chance to try Empress 1908 gin, inspired by the gorgeous tea service at the iconic Fairmont Empress Hotel, I knew I could create a special moment with my friends.
Empress 1908 comes in this beautiful bottle and it’s made even more unique thanks to its beautiful indigo shade. The flavour stands out for the fine balance of eight natural botanicals that go into its distillation, juniper, grapefruit peel, coriander seed, rose petal, cinnamon bark, ginger root, butterfly pea blossom and Fairmont Empress blend tea.
Empress 1908 is perfect to create cocktails and share them with your friends when it’s time to move away from tea and onto something a little more fun.
I like to pair pretty drinks with sweet treats and flowers, so I thought, why not pair it with some delicious cookies? cake is also always welcome to our parties!
