I know I’ve been taking my time writing a blog post this week. I came back to Italy to spend my birthday with my family this year and right now we’re having issues with the internet unfortunately. So bear with me!
Easy Everyday Fall Makeup Look
Winter is fast approaching and in Toronto we can already feel the cold weather. As Lorelai Gilmore says: “I smell snow.” But here in Rome, and in the areas surrounding the city, the weather is still very much Fall weather. Today it was 17 degrees and sunny and this is the makeup look that I am going to wear until Winter comes along and it’s time to update my skincare and makeup routine.
Fall with its orange and red tones and its cool weather gives me a sense of peace. That’s why warm and cold tones mixed together bring out the best makeup look for this time of the year.
For the eyes we decided to go for brown and earthy tones, add a thin cat eye and finish it all with a little bit of mascara.
As many of my friends can attest I am a big fan of Benefit products and one of my new favourite products from the line is the Gimme Brow volumizing eyebrow gel which gives my brows a fuller look.
For the lips we chose a creamy matte lip paint in mauve called FOMO from Tarte.
This is the perfect look if you’re planning on going out and you don’t want to spend too much time applying makeup.
