I know it’s a little early to dress up for the holiday season, but I think it’s never too early to look for the perfect dress.
Holiday Looks: The Doll Dress
Let’s face it, 2017 came quickly and is leaving just as fast.
I was searching for a dress to wear for my birthday when I laid my eyes on this beauty. This scalloped A-lined Ted Baker dress is exactly what I would wear at a family holiday party. It’s a feminine, sweet dress, romantic enough to make you look like a doll. That’s why I call it the doll dress.
I love the scalloped sleeves and the details on these dress. The bow, placed on the mid-section gives the dress an aura of sweetness and femininity. The contrast between the light pink and the dark maroon colour is also what captivated me.
I paired the dress with maroon pumps by Sam Edelman, they’re very comfortable and so perfect for the holidays, not only because of the colour, but because of the velvet finish.
I loved wearing this dress, and although it’s not usually a dress that I would go for, as soon as I tried it on I knew that I needed to show you guys how pretty it was!
As you can tell from these photos, we’re still far away from the Holiday Season, at least in Toronto, but I’ve decided to start looking for dresses and looks that would be perfect for the holidays so that we can all have a few ideas on what to wear when the time comes. Because as we know, time flies and very soon we will be wearing heavy jackets and boots. So here it is, my first holiday look for you guys: the Doll Dress.
