I learned a new term yesterday: breadcrumbing which means, when the “crush” has no intentions of taking things further, but they like the attention. So they flirt here or there, send texts just to keep the person interested, knowing they’re staying single.
Introducing a new Topic on the blog: Dating in the City
How is it possible that year after year we come up with new terms for these kind of behaviours? Behaviours that have become so common that we can actually create a new term for them!
Have we really reached the point where communication and courtesy aren’t a thing anymore and can be disregarded just like that?
Single girls have a hard time finding a date let alone a person they can call their significant other and those who are in a relationship keep telling me how they wouldn’t know how to date if they were to be single again and might as well stay single at that point…
So what do we do? Are there any answers to these questions? probably not good enough answers, but I believe it’s better to talk about it than to keep it inside.
With this post I want to open up a new topic on the blog dedicated to the dating scene. In this new era of dating, where texting is the new calling and meeting online is the new meeting in person, I think we all need to talk about the pros and cons of dating in the city.
