I’m typing these words down this morning while lying in my comfy and cozy bed. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t usually stay in bed for a very long time after I open my eyes, but today I woke up with a cold and not feeling at my best. Maybe the fact that I wore a dress with no sleeves for Halloween and not a very heavy jacket might be part of the cause, I sometimes seem to think that I’m immune to getting sick like some kind of Superwoman. Well, I’m definitely wrong on that one. So in the end, here I am.
Today I wanted to write up an update article on how things have been going here in Italy since I moved back three months ago. Yes, it’s been exactly three months and I can’t believe how quickly time has passed since my departure from Canada.
November has begun and with the start of this month, I have been a little busy with attending driving-school theory classes for my written exam and starting a new HR (Human Resources) class online. Since I’ve always been intrigued by this subject, I decided I wanted to know more about it and learn as much as I can. November is also my birthday month and this year I’ll be celebrating my 22nd birthday! *starts singing Taylor Swift song 22. I am a sucker for birthdays and I definitely think that if I were to be a character in a Disney movie I would definitely be the Mad Hatter celebrating even my non-birthdays all year round!
So with the start of these new study courses and keeping up with my blog, I’m definitely a busy bee! I love the feeling of being busy and doing things that I want to do and that interest me, just a few months ago I felt stuck in a rut. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, I had just finished my Journalism program and I was coming back to Italy. Now I’m finally happy with the decision I made and couldn’t be happier to spend time with my family and friends I haven’t been able to see for a very long time. I obviously miss my friends and family I left in Canada, but thanks to the Internet we are able to keep in contact and I’m sure we will see each other very soon! I keep telling them to come visit me here in Italy!
