The other day my sister looked at me and said: “Erika, this Christmas we have to bring back our old tradition of watching all our Disney Christmas movies!”And by the tone she used it sounded like she didn’t want to hear objections… But seriously, her words really made me think about these last three years we’ve been apart and how she’s been living this time apart. I know how I’ve felt, but she’s never told me how she was feeling.
I remember it was our tradition to sit on the carpet wrapped in covers and watch every single Disney Christmas cartoon we ever bought the night before Christmas. It really did feel magical and that’s how we spent the best Christmas Eve nights, happy and excited. We really felt the Christmas spirit even without the snow and the below zero temperature.
Why am I talking about Christmas? you might be asking yourselves, because today I decided to try out a different kind of outfit and it’s definitely related to the Disney topic.
I love almost every single Disney movie, I have a Snow white mug, which I drink coffee from almost every single day, my favourite Disney princess is with no doubt Ariel, I love The Lion King and I can definitely relate to Daisy Duck now and then, after all, What’s life without some Disney in it?
So I thought I would share with you a super cute, comfortable and adorable top from H&M that has Mickey and co. drawings on it. It’s definitely not my usual style, but I thought I would give it a go and try something different. I love the black and white combination so I decided to pair this item with my black jeans and black boots. the black additions give the look an edgier kick.
I also decided to dare a little more with my makeup, since we’re talking about Disney here, so I applied a brown eyeshadow and simple black mascara on the eyes and went for a bold move by applying an orange lipstick with my NARS lip pencil. What do you think of this outfit? And what’s your favourite Disney movie? I’d love to know!
