She believed she could, so she did. Kate Spade has always been one of my favourite brands.

She Believed She Could, So She Did

Kate Spade is that combination of classy and quirky, colourful patterns and feminine silhouettes. It’s an empowering brand for women, trying to spread a very important message: Women are strong. We can be whomever we want to be.

As women how do we empower each other and find the courage to do what we want? 

Empower each other: We grow together, so we should encourage each other in every aspect of life. It starts with immediate family and then friends and then with the community we live in. 

Stick together: Life is a complicated whirlwind of experiences and emotions, it’s easier and much more enjoyable to live life knowing that we have other people watching our backs and that support us.

Be Honest with each other: White lies. We all make this mistake. We all lie thinking that we’re helping our friend by hiding our real opinion, but what if in the end that little innocent lie is what doesn’t land her that job? For me, being honest is the best way to go. In the end the decision is her own to make, but at least she knows that I told her how I really feel and that she can always count on me.

Share knowledge and experiences: Mothers are usually there to tell you what to do and when we’re young it can get annoying and boring, but growing up you start to realize how important those confidential moments of shared experiences are. She tells you stories and you realize that one day you’re sharing those stories with other women.

Allow yourself to be proud of the woman you’ve become and are becoming: Guilt is one of my worst traits. I feel guilty for the most futile reasons. Be proud of who you’ve become, of your choices and of what you’ve decided to do. No one should make you do something that you don’t want to do.

And in the end being a woman is amazing and we shouldn’t be scared of leaving our homes because maybe we’re dressed too provocatively. Your life, your choice.
